    “Ilsa and the golden sheep”

    The new Thuringian legend book

Together with the author Ingrid Annel and BuchVerlag Leipzig (BuchVerlag für die Frau), another book of legends has been created. After illustrations for legends about Usedom, Fischland-Darß-Zingst, Rügen, Schleswig-Holstein and the Spreewald since 2022, Thuringia with its exciting world of legends has now come under the brush! A sleeping emperor in the mountain, giants, robbers, knights and much more can be experienced in the numerous Thuringian legends!

The 112-page book with 40 color illustrations and hardcover will be available in stores from the end of September 2025 and will also be presented for the first time at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October by the “grünes herz” publishing group.

Illustrations for the lyrics by Christina Rommel

more precisely by Mario Briczin, who has been successfully creating songs for the singer Christina Rommel for many years. The impressive collection of song lyrics was sorted chronologically on 186 pages and brought together in an extraordinary book project, with a black and white watercolor graphic for each song, printed by the Schöpfel printing company (Weimar) on a very special paper, bound and provided with a special hardcover.

The book will be available on October 15, 2025!

  • An anniversary at the end of the year

About 20 years ago, I stumbled across this magazine for the first time. In the fall of 2024, this email arrived: “Could you, dear Ms. Kadelke, imagine designing our anniversary cover?”

A project close to my heart that brings color and a little cheerfulness to the dark season. On page 12, I was also able to report on my life as an illustrator between the northern and southern hemispheres.

Thank you Mr. Rüberg for your trust in my creative paint box!

  • Three in one go

The year 2024 is now slowly closing its doors and I take another look at the well-worn calendar for my projects.

What a year! There was a lot to do. Lots of colorful things to do with legends and fairy tales, poems and music. I’m always happy about my head, this natural intelligence that can be called upon and never seems to run out of ideas. I can therefore present 3 more new ISBNs at this point and wish the viewer, reader and curious person much pleasure with them (this of course presupposes the ordering process)!
